The New York State Department requires independent laboratory testing for every brand of product to be tested for any contaminants and to ensure product consistency. The Department’s Wadsworth Center Laboratory will perform initial testing and analysis of final medicinal marijuana products until independent laboratories receive certification from the New York State Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP).
