Certification of Medicinal Marijuana in New York State

To start, contact Medicinal Marijuana LI for an appointment. It is at this point that you will register and make a telemedicine (done by video, via cell phone or computer) visit appointment.

At the time of your appointment, you will need to upload any supporting medical documents and give a (history) timeline of your condition and treatments.  You must state how long the condition(s) has been occurring and what treatments were used (for how long and if there was success). When talking with the NP/ MD, having this information helps keep things focused.

We will email you from Medicinal Marijuana LI 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.  Make sure to print out directions and what you will need to have to successfully complete the process.

The directions from above will guide you to register with New York State to order your Medical Marijuana card by using your NY State drivers license # or other acceptable forms of ID on the site. Your new Medical Marijuana certification # starts with PC-xxxxxx.

The Medical Marijuana card will come in the mail within 7-10 days.

Once your card is received, you may call and make an appointment at the dispensary. You must use your card to swipe in to the dispensary, and you should bring your certificate also.

You will meet with the pharmacist to discuss your dose, the program and answer any questions you might have.
